A Formal Private Residence Wedding in New Vernon, New Jersey, With Monogram Details

Taylor has two sisters who got married at their childhood home, so when she and Tyler got engaged, she could easily picture an elegant tented reception on her parents’ lawn. “We wanted to bring the outside in, with lots of greenery,” she says. What she did not imagine was a huge tree falling across the driveway on the wedding day, but after her dad cleared it, everything went according to plan. Ring bearers wore custom bow ties with an image of the lighthouse where Tyler proposed. Servers passed around mai tais and gin and tonics in silver Jefferson cups belonging to Taylor and her sisters,  an annual gift from Taylor’s parents. The cups are engraved with their names and note something significant from each year. Roses decorated the gluten-free vanilla, chocolate truffle and coconut cake.
