When Aleem, 31, took Aleisha, 22, to Quebec for a romantic getaway, it's safe to say she suspected something. It didn't help that once they landed in the area, they received an email that their horse-drawn carriage had been canceled due to freezing temperatures. Even though Aleisha knew something was up, she was blown away by Aleem's proposal plan B — an intimately lit, flower petal-covered hotel suite and beautiful speech directly from the heart. “I still wish he had recorded himself just to have the words he spoke,” Aleisha says. “It was such a special moment.” Traditions Golf Course in La Quinta, California was the ideal spot for Aleisha and Aleem's formal outdoor event. The pristine landscape was the perfect backdrop for the couple's pretty blush and ivory color palette.
