A Formal Garden Wedding at Brookside Country Club in Stockton, California

Laura wasn't sure her and Joe's relationship would last through a cross-country move from California to New York City, but Joe was determined to make it work. Since the two met in Medical school and were separated by one year, they met back up in Manhattan a year later, when Joe's residency took him there and began talking marriage. Joe proposed on Laura's birthday, with his Grandmother's heirloom ring. Next thing they knew they were in the midst of wedding planning. The day began with the ceremony in Laura's childhood synagogue (overseen by the Rabbi that saw her grow up) and ending at a country club in her parents' hometown. The theme of the day was a mix between formal and lush garden. Laura wanted the decor to be bright and floral without being too "girly," so she chose pops of coral and peach mixed with hues of green and white and other pastels.
