A Formal, Classic Wedding at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California

Jennifer Philen (24 and a public relations professional) and George Philip Spencer III (24 and an investment banker) wanted their wedding to feel time

Jennifer Philen (24 and a public relations professional) and George Philip Spencer III (24 and an investment banker) wanted their wedding to feel timeless. After deciding to wed at the scenic Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California—the same venue where Jennifer's parents were married 25 years earlier—the couple and Deanna Nash Events designed a classic, elegant formal affair in a palette of pale sky blue, soft gold and ivory. Jennifer offset the simple sophistication of her two-carat solitaire engagement ring with a custom dress that combined a Monique Lhullier lace long-sleeve top with a specially designed ball gown skirt and feminine bow back. An outdoor ceremony on the terrace lent the nuptials the stunning backdrop of the Southern California mountains. After, an indoor reception upped the classic glamour with lush white and blush floral centerpieces, gold chiavari chairs and a five-tier wedding cake. A sweets bar featuring white and gold candy, mini Sprinkles cupcakes and vanilla macarons, along with a cigar bar with custom matchboxes and cigar bands, gave the evening a luxe touch. If it all weren't glamorous enough, after a sparkler send-off, the newlyweds departed in style in a vintage Rolls-Royce. —Michelle Thomas
