Margot Bellamy (36 and a senior manager at Deloitte) and John Jarmul (37 and a chief strategist at Motive Insight) have long felt that their autumn mountain wedding at SaddleRidge in Beaver Creek, Colorado, was overdue. "We both felt like we should have gotten married 15 years ago," Margot says. The pair first met at the University of Colorado where they were both economics majors and John was the dishwasher at Margot's sorority. Years later, the pair reconnected and John fell in love with Margot and her two young sons, so it's no surprise that the boys got to lead the procession down the aisle. For Margot, the day's aesthetic was inspired by the flowers she and her florist selected: "I just loved the colors and the wild, whimsical arrangements. I wanted everything to look grown-up, elegant and glamorous but not like we were trying too hard. It was a small and very intimate occasion, so I wanted everyone to feel relaxed and happy."—Rory Kress

The floral arch for the ceremony matched the autumn yellows in the Colorado mountain trees.
Punchy pink blooms added a sense of sophistication to Margot and John's intimate celebration. "My bouquet was a work of art," the bride says of her asymmetrical arrangement.
While the bride kept her jewelry simple, she opted for a touch of bling on her silver Jimmy Choo shoes.
In addition to the peach and coral florals, Margot wanted to bring in notes of champagne and gold with the candleholders.
For the recessional from the ceremony, the pair chose the Lumineers' “Ho Hey.” Says Margot: "John played that song a lot when we started dating. We both felt like we should have gotten married 15 years ago and the 'You belong with me, I belong with you' lyrics really hit a personal chord."
The vaulted wooden ceilings of the reception space at Saddleridge in Beaver Creek, Colorado, gave the affair a cozy mountain-cabin warmth.
Pomegranates held the place cards for guests at the reception at SaddleRidge in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The autumnal fruit matched the September wedding perfectly.
Smaller floral arrangements dotted the reception space for additional pops of color.
Margot's two boys, Charlie and Peter, donned matching navy suspenders and bow ties for their shared role as ring bearers. "It was so very special having them there," she says.
