A Flower-Filled Mountain Wedding at a Private Residence in Aspen, Colorado
Blending mountain rustic with romantic elegance throughout the details, Alexandra Kister (29 and a director of client services and communications) and Maxwell Ryan (28 and a product manager at Power Generation) had a stunning flower-filled wedding. Florist Lauryl Lane from Lauryl Lane Botanical Stylist really brought Alex and Maxwell’s vision to life with amazing textured florals including a stunning cascading bouquet for Alex and even a flower wall behind the dessert table! Virginia and Kaitlin from Bluebird Productions based out of Aspen, Colorado, ensured Alex and Maxwell got hitched without a hitch and brought the navy, yellow and white color palette to life within the gorgeous natural setting. The couple knew they wanted to get married in the Rocky Mountains, and easily decided that Alex’s parents’ home was the absolute perfect place to start their next chapter together. “I thought it would be wonderful to get married in the mountains in September with the start of fall foliage,” Alex says. “Realizing that we couldn’t beat the view from my family’s property and having created so many wonderful memories there, it became evident that we wanted to create another wonderful memory, our wedding. We felt that sharing one of our favorite places in the world with our guests would make the day even more special.” There are so many details we love! See them all, beautifully captured by Leila Brewster Photography, below. A tip for the taking from Alex: “When you’re working with vendors, don’t be shy about what you want and provide as many specific examples as possible. Also trust your vendors opinions as they are the expert at what they do and often have very helpful insights.”
