A Fall Wedding at A Private Estate in Germantown, New York

Jessica Sylvester (29 and works for a non-profit) and Adam Hirsch (37 and works in investments) had the ultimate fall wedding. We’re talking boutonnieres made of leaves, lush branch centerpieces, exposed wood chargers and mulled sangria signature cocktails. Their ceremony chuppah even incorporated the season. Saipua, their florist, covered it with changing leaves, blush dahlias and greenery. To tie everything together, they used a specific color palette.  “The color theme was to not have one,” says Jessica. “We wanted a wedding that spoke to nature and really brought our guests into a quiet and beautiful spot out of Manhattan.” Their tented reception, designed by AaB Creates, even had clear siding so guests could take in the private estate's riverside views and lush grounds. When they came back in, Rhythm Collective, their band, kept everyone on the dance floor with music from the 1970s to today, including two finales with a personal twist. “The first was a 20-minute montage of 1990s hip-hop (think 'Jump' by Kriss Kross and 'Let me clear my throat' by Dj Kool), which got everyone dancing,”says Jessica. “The last song was 'Chalk Dust Torture' by the band Phish – a tribute for the groom who has been a huge fan of the band for over 20 years. His friends appreciated the song too!” See every detail captured by Cappy Hotchkiss Photography, below!
