A DIY, Waterfront Wedding at Lakeside Park in Caledonia, Michigan

Newlyweds Ashley and Joshua planned their outdoor celebration for 165 friends and family members -- in under four months! "Since our engagement was short, it was tough finding a venue that wasn't already booked," the bride explains. "We picked Lakeside Park because it's right down the road from our church and we regularly ride bikes at the trail head there. We loved being outdoors and the park has a beautiful lake with plenty of open space. Plus, where else can your guests throw colored sprinkles at you during your recessional?" After exchanging vows by the water, the couple celebrated at their local Brightside Church with family and friend before their grand exit. "We had a send off at the park in a hot air balloon," the bride explains. "It was a great reflection of our adventurous sides."
