A DIY Garden-Style Wedding at a Private Residence in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi

Claire and Jonathan wanted an intimate wedding that was completely their own, so they filled the garden-style celebration in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, with DIY details. Inspired by Jonathan’s position at a nursery, they started the day with a custom ceremony that included a cup of soil from their families’ homes. The bridesmaids stood beside them with bouquets they made themselves from eucalyptus, peonies and baby’s breath. Once they said "I do," everyone went to a reception at a private residence. The dessert table had tiers of lemon buttercream cupcakes had Claire made that morning! Claire and Jonathan sent everyone home with a lemon tree sapling in vintage teacups she personally collected from antiques shops and estate sales.
