A Destination Wedding at the El Dorado Royale Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Julie Harquail (26 and a nurse) and Jason Beatch (31 and a mechatronics engineer) are the classic “set up” story of “my best friend was dating his best friend and we were told we would be the perfect match,” says the bride. To tell their story, the groom wrote a poem: “Our story does of course give me great joy, the classic tale of girl meets boy.Some friends were involved to bring it about, sure to work they had no doubt. A beauty she and a ninja he, put them together a sight to see. A pirate party but no one died, ‘She looked good I must confide.’ A hesitant start but he kissed well, So she had at it, “Ah, what the hell!” A concert and a double date, What brought them together may have been fate. Not fiction this tale, it is true, it’s a tale about us and how our love grew!”The couple decided to get married on the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico at the El Dorado Royale Resort. “It was amazing to celebrate an entire week with so many of our closest friends and family in such a beautiful place,” says Julie.
