A Destination Wedding at Marco Beach Ocean Resort in Marco Island, Florida

A white and grey color palette with pops of  fuchsia provided the perfect combination of fun and elegance at the wedding of Mike Albright, a 52-year-old human resources executive, and Mollie Kahn, a 36-year-old spa manager. The couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico at Marco Beach Ocean Resort in Marco Island, Florida. “We wanted a beach and water scene without actually being in the sand,” they say. The location allowed the bride and groom to incorporate their love for coastal scenes and sunsets into their special day. Following the ceremony, guests attended a cocktail hour on the terrace and later moved indoors for dinner and dancing. White and hot pink floral decorations and candles lined the aisle at the ceremony and served as centerpieces at the reception. “It was an entire weekend of events filled with sun, sand and relaxation,” the couple says.
