A Destination Wedding at Katathani Phuket Beach Resort in Phuket, Thailand

Shannele Newbery (27 and a hair and makeup stylist) and Blair Newbery (32 and an electrical project manager) met on adventures abroad in London when Shanelle was invited over to give Blair a much needed hair cut. The two became close friends over the years, until finally, their friends pushed them together as a couple. They enjoyed adventures around the world together and eventually decided to get married in one of their favorite vacation spots: Phuket, Thailand. They chose the Katathani Beach Resort for its lush grounds, proximity to the beach and central location for their friends and family all over the world. The color palette was soft shades of gray, blush, peach and cream to compliment the natural beauty of the Phuket beach. The wedding ceremony took place on the lawn in front of the water, and included a special surprise—a baby elephant that walked down the aisle to hand Shannele a basket of flowers. With free flowing food and drinks, dancing and beautiful scenery, Shannele and Blair’s wedding guests had a holiday they won’t soon forget.
