A Country Wedding at the Barn at Serra Valley Farms in Mount Airy, Maryland

Katie Perrottino, 23, a medical biller, and Brent Masek, 24, an engineer, had their country themed wedding at the Barn at Serra Valley Farms in Mount Airy, Maryland surrounded by the breathtaking scenery ideal for an outdoor wedding venue. Katie wore an ivory beaded wedding dress accented with lace, while Brent went for a cowboy look wearing wrangler jeans and boots with a white shirt and grey vest. The couple had their ceremony under a willow tree, and a John Deere tractor and wagon transported guests from the parking lot to the ceremony, then to the reception venue. During the cocktail hour, guests were able to chose to play games of corn hole and horse shoe set up on the green, or go explore the elegant gardens or wooden trails on the farmland grounds. After a buffet dinner, the night was finished off with s'mores supplied by the bride's family to have around the campfire as it got dark. "We aimed for all the elements in our wedding to reflect us," says Katie. "From the silly ceremony starting lines to the tractor ride, to the actual country styled venue and the cocktail hour games, gun shell decorations, burlap and lace accepts. It was all very us and perfectly described our relationship.
