The couple met in 2006, at a bar just after Texas A&M (they were both Aggies) lost to Texas Tech. The Bride Sarah Phipps, 30 and an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton The Groom Matthew Baine, 34 and a new media sales director at WOAI The Date May 2 The couple wanted an outdoor, Hill-Country-style wedding, and picked bright spring colors (to pop against the formal black bridesmaid dresses and tuxes) for all day-of floral elements.

Matthew chose the vanilla cake with buttercream frosting because he loved how it tasted.
The bride’s bouquet was made up of versilia roses, Anna roses, freesia, wax flowers, tulips, and bells of Ireland.
The colorful floral centerpieces included irises, larkspur, tulips, roses, bells of Ireland, wax flowers, freesia, and roses.
The couple exchanged vows on the brick-paved patio of the Hofmann Ranch, with expansive views of the Medina Valley. Sarah says it was a perfect day for her photographers: cloudy and overcast.
One of the bridesmaids made a book of photos spanning Sarah and Matthew’s relationship, and guests wrote little messages throughout. This particular photo was from their engagement photo shoot in Helotes, a town outside San Antonio.
Sarah let her bridesmaids pick out their own dresses -- as long as they were black and knee-length. They all appreciated the ability to wear their own style, Sarah says.
