A Country Glam Wedding at Deer Valley Meadows in Alix, Alberta

Although Claire and Tyler are devout Christians, they chose to forgo a traditional church wedding for an outdoor wedding at Deer Valley Meadows in Alix, Alberta, 30 minutes from the couple's home town. "Although it was formerly a campsite spot, we moved the fire pits, groomed the grass and turned it into the most beautiful, natural amphitheatre," Claire says. A color palette of coral, gray and hints of gold glitter helped set the scene for the country glam wedding theme the couple was aiming for. "We used old wood for decor mixed with gold glitter. Tyler is a big hunter, which we also incorporated into our backdrop," Claire explains. White signs with inspirational quotes of love lining the ceremony aisle and handmade jam favors made by the couple themselves add the final, personal touch for the couple's wedding day. The highlight of the night? A picture powerpoint that Claire's bridesmaid made for the couple. "Since we have been dating since we were 15, we have many memories together and I loved watching us grow up together," Claire says.
