A Country Chic Wedding at the Williamsburg Winery in Williamsburg, Virginia

Tommi Richards (25 and in business development) knew she needed to meet Zeb Farnham (28 and in the US Army) the moment she clapped eyes on him. The two were at the same bar with friends, and they had been giving each other the eye all night. When neither of them took any initiative despite their obvious attraction, Tommi’s friend and wingwoman approached Zeb and asked if he was single. He said he was and started talking to Tommi. He admitted that he had wanted to come over to talk to her earlier, but he had mistaken one of Tommi’s friends as her boyfriend. The two quickly bonded, and Zeb proposed to Tommi at a vineyard on the water. The couple chose to be married at the Williamsburg Winery because it was both rustic and classy. “We had a wide variety of people coming to our wedding and we wanted everyone to feel comfortable, whether they were in jeans and cowboy boots or a three-piece suit,” says Tommi. They held their ceremony outside on a cloudless day and celebrated afterwards at the winery building. The groomsmen wore jeans and the whole wedding party wore cowboy boots. Decor at both the ceremony and reception featured burlap and wood, which complimented the wedding’s mint and yellow color palette. Tommi and Zeb were able to perfectly fuse a casual, country vibe with traditional elegance at their wedding.
