A Contemporary Warehouse Wedding at Kadi Fit in Cornelius, North Carolina

Alison Henry (26 and a nurse) and Lindsey Boldt (27 and a college soccer coach) were both dating other people when they first met through mutual friends. After more than two years of friendship they decided to give their relationship a chance. Alison and Lindsey each proposed to each other on separate occasions—Lindsey proposed after an Amazing Race-inpsired scavenger hunt and Alison popped the question during a college soccer game that Lindsey was coaching. For their North Carolina celebration, the pair planned a colorful and contemporary celebration at Kadi Fit—a warehouse turned workout dance studio and event space. Both brides chose their dresses separately but both agreed to wear off white in order to complement each other's look. A Tiffany blue and gray color palette—inspired by a store sign—warmed the rustic reception space while bright wildflower arrangements played up the colorful wall mural. Off white linen topped with burlap runners decorated the long reception tables and old lanterns  completed the shabby-chic look. The best part: A surprise food truck dinner catered by the Roaming Fork.
