A Colorful Wedding at the Children's Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Connie Chiueh, 39, a materials developer at Reebok, and Dan Mazzocco, 30, a product test engineer at Reebok, met at a work event clearing dead branches and brush in the woods of the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts. Since meeting Dan, Connie tried to mail as many work packages as she could on his floor so they could bump into each other again. They eventually started to date and four years later, Dan proposed with a custom ring that he designed for Connie and a poem that described the ring and their relationship. Although the couple lived in Boston, Massachusetts, they decided to have the wedding in Pittsburgh where Dan grew up and where his family lived. Admitting to being big kids themselves, Connie and Dan decided to have their wedding ceremony and reception at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh. "We really loved the spirited and artistic atmosphere of the entire museum," says Connie "The building itself is really unique and beautiful, with its combination of old and modern architecture, and every room is infused with character and artistic flair." The couple had their reception in the Studio Room, with bright fuchsia and orange streamers hanging above the ceremony space, and the reception in the Big Red Room with large white circular lights. The Children's Museum space served as a colorful backdrop throughout Connie and Dan's entire wedding day.
