A Colorful, Rustic Fall Wedding at the Bellevue Barn at Carlisle Place in Jefferson, New Hampshire
Ashley Gonyaw (30 and a group sales and marketing manager) and Joeseph (Joe) Wood (33 and a high school special education and language arts teacher) tapped into their creativity to pull off a whimsical wedding with a touch of autumnal appeal.
Wanting to highlight the fall foliage, the pair selected a palette of bright peach, yellow and burnt orange, which they paired with wood accents and metallic touches. “We lucked out with what turned out to be a peak foliage weekend overlooking the White Mountains,” Ashley says.
Airy fabric and bundles of white and orange blooms lent a softness to the rustic ceremony décor.
Showstopping florals were essential for Ashley. The couple’s talented florists created a vibrant, hand-tied bouquet filled with garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, succulents, seeded eucalyptus, silver brunia and Icelandic poppies for the bride to carry down the aisle.
The couple jazzed up their vanilla chiffon and maple mousse cake with a whimsical script cake topper.
