A Colorful Loft Wedding at Le Fais Do-Do in Atlanta, Georgia

Exactly five years after meeting on the kickball field, Kim Cook (28 and a consultant) and David Brown (36 and a solutions architect) exchanged vows during a festive celebration at Le Fais do-do in Atlanta, Georgia. Kim and David added a personal touch to their creative ceremony by including wedding scenes from their favorite TV shows and even rickrolled guests during their vows. To add extra color to her bouquet, Kim wrapped her flowers with ribbon from the various weddings she’s attended over the years. "The ribbon came from my bouquets as a bridesmaid, catching the toss bouquet or from centerpieces and place cards," says Kim. "It meant a lot to some of my friends who could not be at the wedding to know that a piece of them was!" The newlyweds transformed their loftlike venue into a colorful celebration with a warehouse-chic feel. Some highlights of the evening included bridesmaids in different shades of colorful pumps, local beer shipped from Kim's hometown and a choreographed first dance to Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory." To integrate their love of sports into their reception, Kim and David surprised guests with team mascots and a kickball guest book alternative. A final surprise of Taco Bell tacos ended the cheerful night with a satisfying treat. "We made our wedding day about us and having the best time we can have with showing our personality and letting everyone else join us in celebrating," says Kim.
