A Colorful Interfaith Wedding at the Crosley Estate in Cincinnati, Ohio

One year after physicians Anjuli Sinha (32) and Christopher (Chris) Campbell (32) got engaged, the pair wed at a Hindu ceremony, where they exchanged vows in Sanskrit under a jasmine-draped mandap. "We wanted an outdoor wedding in a location that had Cincinnati history associated with it," Anjuli says. The pair booked the Pinecroft at Crosley Estate for their 200-person affair. "The venue's catering team makes some of the best Indian food I've ever had, and they have an air-conditioned reception tent on-site, which were both essential perks too." Anjuli wore jasmine in her hair and accessorized with ornate earrings fashioned from her late mother's wedding ring. "We wanted our wedding to feel like a relaxed party for everyone," Anjuli says. "We went with an 'Indian rustic' design, which essentially meant we picked details we liked that represented who we are and where we're from." Instead of traditional take-home favors, Anjluli and Chris made a donation to the American Refugee Committee on behalf of their guests. Whimsical elephant figurines tipped the ombré buttercream confection. Orange napkins, turquoise mason jars, birchwood boxes and bud vases topped dining tables, along with one must-have bloom: sunflowers. "They were my mom's favorite," Anjuli says. Lawn games like cornhole and bocce were available to guests during cocktail hour, and once dinner began, partygoers were treated to Indian fusion desserts that included gulab jamun, or Indian donuts, with ice cream and mango lassi ice pops.
