A Colorful, Family Wedding at the Historic Kent Manor Inn in Stevensville, Maryland

Kami Barth (33 and a procurement manager) and Jayson Barth (36 and a superintendent) met through a mutual friend. They had their first date at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Soon after, they decided to move in together and their daughters from other relationships, Natalie and Cassidy, have been inseparable ever since. Jayson proposed to Kami before their Christmas Eve party because he wanted their families to be involved, and they were able to celebrate their engagement with their daughters and their parents. Kami and Jayson’s color palette was bright turquoise and orange, and their flower arrangements included roses, delphiniums, lillies, tulips, hydrangeas and Queen Anne’s lace. The centerpieces included beautiful, tall glass vases with miniature vases hanging inside of them. Small succulent plants doubled as favors and escort cards. For dessert, the newlyweds served a variety of cupcakes from Fields of Heather Bakery. The most important thing for Kami and Jayson was to make sure that their wedding involved their whole family. Their daughters were their flower girls, and they carried signs that said “Here comes Daddy’s bride!” and “Here comes my Mommy!” Kami walked down the aisle with her parents. The Barth wedding was a colorful gathering of loved ones.
