Laura Robles and Tim Crooke dated for five years and then moved to Hawaii together. When they planned a trip back to California, their home state, Tim decided to use the opportunity as a way to propose. The pair made their way down the state from San Francisco, stopping in Yosemite and ending up in Ventura, where Tim's family is from. When they got to Ventura, Tim had Laura's parents and his parents waiting in the wings at the Ventura pier while he proposed and white rose petals fell down from the sky. The couple celebrated their wedding with a bold blue and yellow color palette and adding quirky elements, like a "Ring Bear" shirt, and beer vases to add a touch of personality to their Hawaiian affair at Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe on the island of O'ahu.

A DIY plywood sign announced the wedding date at the couple's venue.
The couple's wedding invitations used the phrase, “All the Roads Led to Here,” as a fun play on the road trip the two took that ended in their engagement.
Bridesmaids got ready for the ceremony and day of events in these floral silk robes that fit the Hawaiian vibe of the event.
Bridesmaids wore knee-length royal blue dresses and carried yellow sunflowers, while groomsmen wore light gray suits from Men's Wearhouse.
The ring bearer wore a cute shirt that said “Ring Bear” with fun icons, while the flower girl wore a gray tulle skirt with a yellow belt and a casual tank top that said, “Flower Girl.” She accessorized with a flower crown.
Laura's bridesmaids wore royal blue dresses from David's Bridal throughout the wedding day.
The ceremony took place on a massive manicured lawn at Kualoa Ranch on the island of O'ahu in Hawaii.
The couple's ring bearer carried a ring pillow that said, “I do. I do too.”
Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet of fresh sunflowers that definitely added a bold streak of color to the altar.
Blue and yellow lanterns guided the way down the ceremony aisle.
Laura and Tim's ring exchange included a beautiful rosary ceremony.
Laura and Tim exchanged vows in front of the iconic Chinese Hat rock at Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, O'ahu.
Tim wore a traditional Hawaiian bay leaf lei as a garland around his neck for the ceremony and celebration.
Tim and Laura are really into beer, so each table was named after a certain kind, and their chalkboard artist recreated beer labels as table names on the seating chart.
Chevron table runners in yellow and white played up the cheerful vibe of the reception color scheme.
The reception decor included bold yellow and royal blue colors and a mix of sunflowers and white stock flowers.
One of Laura and Tim's favorite aspects of the wedding was the pictures that friends and family took with the photo booth props left in beer bottles at the end of each table.
The centerpieces for each table were created from cut beer bottles that the couple DIY'd themselves and corresponded to the table names.
Huge blooming sunflowers were the floral focal point of the centerpieces, since they are Tim's favorite flower.
Laura loved adding touches of her Mexican culture to the wedding, including these fun sombrero bottle toppers!
The couple placed thank you cards on every seat at the reception dinner, so their guests could understand just how much it meant to them to have them there.
The couple shared their first dance as a married couple on the white dance floor set up just beyond their reception tent, surrounded by family and friends.
The reception featured string cafe lights, a transparent tent for dining and a dance floor.
