Monica Zaltzberg (28 and a manager at her family’s store) and Casey Barrett (36 and a contractor) met on Match.com. Two years later, Casey proposed over a homemade dinner. When it came to their wedding, they chose a Colorado theme for the day. “We love our home and look forward to raising our kids in our favorite state,” Monica says. “I am a native, born and raised, and Casey is a transplant from Connecticut that has lived here half of his life already. We love everything about our state, especially the outdoors.” They chose the colors of the Colorado flag—red, blue and yellow—for a bright, bold, cheery color palette. The couple exchanged vows at The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado, because of its gorgeous mountain and city views. “When you are standing at the altar getting married, the guests are looking at a view of downtown Denver in between two mountains,” Monica says. “It's awesome and the reason we chose the site. Colorado is home, and we liked the combination of mountains and city.” For dinner, Monica celebrated her Russian heritage with Russian piroshki appetizers and a Napoleon cake for dessert.
