A Coastal Summer Wedding at Hermitage Museum and Gardens in Norfolk, Virginia

Gwynn Miller (29 and in the Army) and Daniel Workmaster (30 and in the Army) wanted a rustic Southern wedding that also incorporated their love for the water. No easy feat! Luckily, Hermitage Museum and Gardens in Norfolk, Virginia, evoked old Southern charm on its waterfront location. "When I saw the Hermitage online, I knew it was the right place—it was a gut reaction," Gywnn says. "We actually booked it without ever physically going there." Gwynn and Daniel used used pastel blues and lavenders with beach accents to complete the their "coastal country" look. Subtle starfish details were woven in throughout the day's details—from the tablescapes to Gywnn's light blue flats. "The whole night was just a blast," Gywnn says. "Everyone danced and drank and ate. It was all outside, so the kids had relays out in the grass while the adults got to drink and reminisce with people they hadn’t seen in a long time.
