A Classy, Alternative Wedding at Gaylord Springs Golf Links in Nashville, Tennessee

Dawn Joy Hodges (31 and a pastry chef and cake decorator) creates sweet treats at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and walks past its charming courtyard daily. “I have always loved it and knew it was the spot for the ceremony,” she says of her marriage to Keith Hodges (32 and an office manager). Later, they moved the reception al fresco at the Gaylord Springs Golf Links. Dawn and Keith love the cleanliness of gray with a pop of green apple, which framed their soft wedding palette. Their wedding planner, A Magical Affair, helped them pull off the details, including variations of white flowers with touches of bright green and yellow. The best part? Since brunch is Dawn and Keith’s favorite activity, they served brunch for dinner. We’re talking a breakfast bar full of bacon, eggs, quiches and more, with mimosas and Bloody Marys galore. To continue the theme, Dawn and Keith gave each guest a cute coffee mug or cereal bowl.
