A Classic Winter-Inspired Wedding at Griffith House in Anaheim, California

Joyce Arcos (26 and a nurse) and Brent Lafrades (29 and a nurse) met through Brent's cousin Dave, who worked with Joyce in the Philippines. Dave had insisted the she meet Brent and after a few refusals, Joyce finally agreed on Brent's last day in the Philippines. After that night, Brent returned home and the two fell out of touch. Seventh months later, Joyce received a message out of the blue from Brent, which kickstarted a long distance relationship and eventually resulted in a proposal on the beach in the Batangas, Philippines.The couple planned an elegant, traditional affair at the Griffith House in Anaheim, CA. A December wedding with a subtle wintery theme was a must for the couple, who had both met and gotten engaged during the winter months, to highlight the season that had brought so many memories and monumental moments to their relationship. A cool color palette of white, navy blue and grey was chosen for the day, which transformed the reception space at the Griffith House into a romantic, wintry retreat. Snowy white tables linens were topped with lush arrangements of ivory gerbera daisies, baby's breath and roses, warm candlelight adding an air of ambiance.
