A Classic Wedding With a Vintage Twist at Plum Brook Country Club in Sandusky, Ohio

Through lace, burlap and wooden details, this classic wedding with a vintage style came to life at Plum Brook Country Club in Sandusky, Ohio. "The inspiration that we used throughout our planning was us," Brittany Crissman (28 and an elementary school teacher) says of her marriage to Jacob Gutschalk (29 and a farmer). "We used colors that we love and have throughout our house." Those colors happened to be a lighter blue and coral, which decorated a variety of details found throughout the day—from the coral rose bridal bouquet accented with thistle, calla lilies and other blooms, to the floral patterned bridesmaid dresses in different shades of blue. Brittany and Jacob hitched a ride on a green tractor draped with a "Just Married" sign on the back, bringing them from one place to the next in rustic style. Guests found their escort tags hung on a faded wooden door with vintage keys attached, leading them to tables marked with pink numbers on burlap. The delicious white tiered cake filled with amaretto, chocolate and chocolate walnut cake satisfied the sweet tooth of every friend and family member around. One of our favorite details? The glass mason jars with miniature black chalkboards that guests signed their name on—a practical way to drink throughout the night while adding some vintage flair to the occasion.
