A Classic Wedding in Minot, North Dakota

Mariah McNulty (22 and a student) and her husband James McNulty (30 and a railroad conductor) tied the knot in front of 275 family members and friends in a country-chic ceremony in Minot, North Dakota. "I didn't start out with a specific wedding theme or style in mind," Mariah explains. "But once everything came together, it turned out beautifully." The bride and her family took a DIY approach to the reception decorations, crafting centerpieces out of mason jars wrapped in burlap, lace and ribbon. Each jar was then filled with glass marbles and and a single candle. As for wedding advice? "Remember that your day is what it is," Mariah says. "Take time to just breath. You're surrounded by the ones you love and want to share your day with, so soak it up!"
