Once Meghan Dowling (28 and a nurse) and Nick Caraballo (28 and a US Air Force pilot) stepped into the main lobby, their decision to get married there was a no-brainer. Kathy of Thee Wedding & Event Warehouse kept the planning moving, introduced Meghan and Nick to their vendors and made sure everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. And having Don Ortega, the director at Westin Kierland Resort and Spa, was like having a second wedding planner—he went above and beyond to help in any way he could. To achieve a timeless look, Meghan and Nick went with a classic black-and-white palette to pop against the green on the golf course. Jacque at Thee Wedding & Event Warehouse created phenomenal floral arrangements with succulents, more succulents and white flowers that amped up the desert romance. A cool detail? Meghan and Nick are all about fun, and Nick is a huge fan of "Star Wars," so instead of a traditional Air Force sword arch, they had an arch of light sabers.
