Cindy wore her hair in a low chignon, a classic choice for this traditional bride.
The three-tier wedding cake was iced in purple buttercream and decorated with a delicate white lace pattern. The confection sat in the middle of a dessert table that also included butter cookies, petit fours, cheesecake pops and glitter bites.
The favors, created by the bride's mother, were lavender-scented soap wrapped in colorful purple and green paper. We wanted the favors to be fun and useful, says Cindy.
Crisp white linens with contrasting purple napkins tied into the color scheme, and complemented the hydrangea and stock centerpieces.
The couple married in a traditional ceremony at Washington University's Graham Chapel.
The purple and green designs on the edges of the escort cards matched the the programs and invitations for a cohesive look.
White roses, ranunculuses, peonies and stock were accented with pops of purple and green to complement the celebration's color palette.
Cindy and her father took a spin on the dance floor as their family and friends watched from their tables.
Jason's goddaughter was the flower girl, wearing a crisp white dress and topping off her adorable ringlets with a baby's breath halo.
The four bridesmaids and maid of honor wore long strapless dresses from J.Crew. I wanted their looks to be simple and elegant, says Cindy.
All the wedding stationery had a cohesive look with flowers printed in different shades of purple, all accented with green leaves.
Cindy carried a soft gathering of peonies, lavender sweet peas, ranunculuses and roses.
Cindy complemented her strapless Enzoani gown with a lace-edged veil and beaded belt.
The couple wrote personal notes to each other and read them during their first look photo session.
The programs were printed with the same purple and green floral design as the invitations, creating a cohesive look for the wedding stationery.
Cindy kept her look simple and elegant, right down to her classic nude pumps.
