A Classic Wedding at The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey
Though teachers Danielle Procaccini (26) and Nick Quaranta (25) grew up in the same town, they didn’t meet until the summer after high school graduation while working as camp counselors. For their local wedding years later, they sought a venue with a “rustic, yet elegant theme,” Danielle says. “Think Joanna Gaines.” They found just that at The Ryland Inn. The pair played up the venue with greenery-filled arrangements and a palette of latte and white. For the ceremony, Danielle wrapped her lush bouquet of veronica and roses with fabric from her mom’s wedding dress and completed the look with a crystal beaded halo headband while Nick wore his late grandfather’s cuff links and vintage watch. After an outdoor ceremony and a cocktail hour (featuring a drink named after their Pomeranian), guests sat for dinner in a sunlit, lantern-filled room. In addition to a vanilla semi-naked cake filled with raspberry and Nutella, Danielle and Nick served a sweet finish dubbed “The Jersey Boardwalk,” which combined ice cream, waffles, zeppoles and pretzels. “It was a fun way to incorporate some of our favorite desserts,” Danielle says.
