A Classic Wedding at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin

After settling on the John Michael Kohler Arts Center as their reception venue, Margaret (35 and a product developer director) and Tom (49 and an independent sales rep) got started on creating their ideal wedding day. "The center was perfect for our reception because it truly is a center for the arts and limitless creativity," the bride says. "We literally started with a blank slate of white walls and they helped us bring it to life." Since both the bride and groom grew up with a self-proclaimed immense appreciation of nature, the two desperately wanted to bring the outdoors inside. "Every wall was its own individual forest lit in white and the centerpieces incorporated birch logs and touches from our family and friends," Margaret says. "Everywhere, there was a touch of my life from the midwest and that of Tom's in California."
