A Classic Wedding at Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis, Missouri

New Jersey-based Katie Scibienski (31 and a ballet teacher) and Jimmy Croghan (28 and an investment management consultant) decided to get married in St. Louis, Missouri, where Jimmy’s family lives. Since Katie is a dancer and ballet teacher, she loved the idea of having their reception at the Sheldon Concert Hall, and the beamed ceilings and twinkling lights sealed the deal for her. They had an eclectic mix of decor ranging from birdcages to wooden rounds to olive leaf crown-decorated table numbers. Bloomin Buckets created gorgeous floral arrangements for the day including peonies, anemones and dusty miller. Although Katie and Jimmy didn’t have a color palette in mind, they were inspired by the bridesmaid’s turquoise J Crew dresses and used a teal, coral and ivory palette. Linda at Simply Elegant Catering created a delicious dinner, but, one of the best parts was the St. Louis specialty, toasted ravioli, as a late-night snack! At the end of the night guests went home with New Jersey honey, decorated with tags that said, “If I were a flower growing wild and free all I'd want is you to be my sweet honey bee."
