A Classic Wedding at Point O'Woods Golf and Country Club in Benton Harbor, Michigan

Stina Olivere (25 and a travel blogger) and Christophe Caron (26 and works in sales) planned their Michigan destination wedding all the way in sunny Florida. When envisioning the celebration, Stina and Christophe decided on an elegant fall gathering filled with gilded candelabras, ivory lace linens and savory fare that honored the groom’s French-Canadian heritage. Guests traveled from as far as Québec to celebrate Stina and Christophe in a party aptly dubbed “He had me at bonjour.” With the the American-Canadian fusion fete, “We wanted to honor the joining of our home countries,” Stina says. Christophe looked dapper in a classic black bow tie and bespoke suit. “The tie was the same one my dad wore when he married my mom,” Stina says. The couple printed invitations in “Frenglish,” which allowed guests to RSVP "oui" or "non" to their October nuptials. Stina and Christophe treated partygoers to a traditional Canadian meal of fries, cheese curds and gravy. “It was a huge hit,” Stina says
