A Classic Wedding at Norfolk Yacht and Country Club in Norfolk, Virginia

Everything about Brittany Shaw (24 and a law student) and Benjamin Bowab's (26 and a consultant) wedding was timeless and elegant. From their traditional church ceremony to their ballroom reception at Norfolk Yacht & Country Club, the couple kept it classic. Their navy and white color palette was inspired by the bridesmaid dresses and floral design. "We chose navy bridesmaid dresses and white-flower arrangements, so that set the basis for the color scheme of the other decorations," Brittany says. In keeping with this scheme, the ballroom at the yacht club was covered in white linens and arranged with navy chairs, and table numbers were displayed in white cursive on navy placards. Alternating high and low centerpieces included white roses, white hydrangeas and ivy. These echoed the white hydrangea bouquets that the bridesmaids carried with their navy Bill Levkoff dresses. Brittany also carried a white bouquet with her stunning Justin Alexander ball gown that featured a sparkly beaded neckline. Brittany and Ben's guests enjoyed a night of dancing to music played by Blue Tips Rhythm Revue, and all the special moments were captured by Luke & Ashley Photography. As a surprise, their photographers set up a monitor at the reception that displayed pictures they had taken of the couple earlier in the day. "It was so awesome to see some of our wedding pictures that night."
