A Classic Wedding at Lionsgate Center in Lafayette, Colorado

Chelsea Jelinek (24 and a nurse) and David Knopp (23 and a mechanic) met through mutual friends. David created a scavenger hunt for Chelsea and proposed at the end. Since Chelsea was planning her wedding while she was in school in Iowa, she needed a venue that would help. She chose Lionsgate because of its helpful staff. “They were a tremendous help with setting up appointments and matching my view of that day to vendors,” she says.Her favorite color is purple, and she loved how teal complemented it, so those were an easy choice for their wedding colors. She used purple and blue orchids throughout the decor. But, the best part? The delicious menu!From the Bride: “Our menu was barbecue,” she says. “We had pulled pork, beef brisket and grilled chicken.”
