A Classic Wedding at Lionsgate at the Gatehouse in Lafayette, Colorado

Dominique Kruse (24 and works in a library) and Zack Burns (23 and works in a music store) met in their Japanese History class at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Zack proposed during a vacation to Japan. Zach thought it was appropriate since they met in a Japanese History class. Dominique and Zack exchanged vows outside at Lionsgate at the Gatehouse before heading inside for a simple, neutral-colored reception. They loved the white pillars, giant white fence and all the exposed brick of the venue. Plus, it had outdoor and indoor options and was exactly the space they needed for their 200 guests. They decorated the reception with champagne linens and kept the centerpieces small and simple for a classic, clean look. They added some color with the burgundy bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen’s burgundy bow ties. From the Bride: “Our day was so chill,” she says. “We really focused on having fun and making it a party for everyone to remember. We had a photo booth for our guests, and the photos were so funny. I think that also really represented us all that day.”
