A Classic Wedding at Island House Hotel in Mackinac Island, Michigan

Heather Tahtinen (26 and a resource development coordinator) and Bill Loughman (53 and a business owner and president) hosted a classic Upper Peninsula, Michigan, wedding with vintage-inspired touches and soft pink accents. Heather's off-white, strapless, fit and flare gown included beading and lace, which she paired with a lace-trimmed veil, and Bill's classic black tuxedo added to the formality of the affair. Traditional flowers like roses, cushion mums and carnations filled the bouquets while flower girls in tulle skirt dresses dropped petals along the aisle. After the outdoor ceremony overlooking the Mackinac Straights from the front lawn of the Island House, the newlyweds and guests moved inside for a luncheon filled with Continental favorites: London Broil, pasta primavera and lake-caught whitefish.
