Breanna Norton and Alex Wise's wedding drew inspiration from their venue's mid-century modern design and classic minimalism. This theme began with the neutral-colored invitation suite written by the bride's grandmother, and it continued to the simple outdoor ceremony site. "My main goal was to not overshadow the venue but bring in touches to accent the space," Breanna says. To that end, the venue's lawn was subtly decorated with bamboo chairs and flower pedestals. "Alex and I are both strong believers in our faith and truly wanted to make the day about how excited we were to be joined as one," Breanna says. "Alex wrote and read a prayer during the ceremony honoring our commitment to each other and the commitment to our faith. We will end up passing the prayer down to our children someday in hopes they too will read it at their weddings." The bride wore a form-fitting wedding gown with a V-neckline, open back and lace detailing. She accessorized with a cathedral veil, red lipstick and a bouquet of red flowers. The bridesmaids wore light gray dresses, while Alex and his groomsmen donned navy suits. The reception took place inside the greenhouse, where flower arrangements in shades of pink and red added a pop of color. A delicious dessert spread included a two-tiered wedding cake, as well as Key lime and lemon blueberry tarts.
