Lena Floyd (27 and an administrative assistant) met Blake Beals (27 and a wireline operator) in college when Blake started to play guitar at a mutual friend’s apartment. Seven years later, the two were married at Ashelynn Manor in Magnolia, Texas. “I cannot say enough about their services,” says Lena. “They handled everything and made it stress-free for us. The grounds are beautiful, and the whole venue is amazing.” A color palette of purple hues mixed with gray and white accents framed the classic style of the day. The cocktail hour reflected the romantic theme with a “Love and Lavender” signature drink, served with a sprig of lavender. The newlyweds both love to dance, so the reception began and ended with Lena and Blake on the dance floor. They selected “Love is Everything by George Strait for their first dance, but saved the best for last: “Our guests felt special when it was time for our farewell dance,” says Lena. “Everyone held hands around us as we danced to ‘Look At You Girl’ by Chris Ledoux.”
