A Classic, Waterfront Wedding at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Bridget Bradley (31 and a sales director) and Fritz Haimberger (30 and works at Meditech) met in Chicago via EHarmony. What was supposed to be a quick Sunday brunch turned into hours and hours of conversation and canceled afternoon plans. Since they were basically inseparable from that point on, it wasn’t a surprise that they were engaged nine months later. Their number one goal in planning their wedding was to make sure that they wouldn’t look back and say “What were we thinking?” Although they decided to get married at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club in Virginia Beach, they were adamant that they didn’t want a nautical theme. Instead, Fritz and Bridget decided to focus on a clean color palette of white and navy blue with silver accents. The white anemones with navy blue centers were the focal point of the wedding decor. They beautifully adorned the tented reception and looked lovely in the bouquets of the wedding party. Other flowers in the arrangements included white hydrangeas, white roses, white ranunculuses, dusty miller, silver brunia and baby’s breath. The centerpieces were arranged on an antique silver collection. The reception looked stunning at sunset time with the Cavalier Club’s waterfront views. Fritz and Bridget’s wedding was classic in navy blue and white.
