A Classic, Vintage Wedding at Top of the Town in Cullman, Alabama

Allison Parson (20 and a banker) and Adam Hale (21 and in sales) met through a mutual friend and admit that it truly was love at first sight. Adam proposed on Christmas Day by sneaking the ring into Allison's stocking. They chose to have their wedding at Top of the Town in Cullman, AL. Allison and Adam decided it was the perfect venue for them matching the style Allison had envisioned. "It is a formal venue with a lot of dark wood and crystal chandeliers," Allison says. The theme of the wedding was "old Hollywood" with a color palette of white, cream, gold and silver. Matching the "old Hollywood" style, Allison wore a class, A-Line, lace dress with a delicate veil and rhinestone hair accessory while her bridesmaids wore short, black dresses. Adam and his groomsmen wore black tuxedos and bow ties. All of the flower arrangements were white except for Allison's bouquet and Adam's boutonniere which were made up of red roses. Centerpieces were mostly white roses and hydrangeas held in mismatched glass vases. Vintage doorknobs and candleholders also decorated the dining tables. Allison and Adam had a photo booth at their wedding for guests to enjoy with vintage props. The photo booth always produced two sets of pictures and Allison and Adam asked their guests to include one set in a memory book they had with well wishes and signatures. With a formal setting and vintage decor, Allison's dream of an elegant, "old Hollywood" wedding came to life.
