A Classic Vineyard Wedding at Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa, California

Surrounded by gorgeous views of lush vineyards and rolling hills, Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa, California, creates the ideal intimate setting that feels far from the bustling urban area below. “We loved how we didn’t have to travel far from home, but we felt like we were miles away,” Michele Conner (27 and a teacher) says of her marriage to Jose Mendoza (25 and a mechanical specialist). “The winery sits upon a hill overlooking the whole city, and you feel like you are in a different country. It was a quiet, romantic and peaceful venue and was the perfect fit.” The black-and-white palette with touches of pink decorated the classic wedding with Disney-themed details—from the “Here Comes Your Princess” wedding sign to the engraved champagne glasses—all captured on camera by Sean J. Mason Photography. Michele and Jose had their ceremony at the outdoor space surrounded by natural tree and plant foliage, where they were married at the altar shaped by two wooden barrels with pink and white flower arrangements, created by Pedy's Petals. Michele's bouquet was a soft pastel-colored arrangement of roses, chrysanthemums and peonies held together by an ivory wrap draped with rosary beads, which she carried down the aisle as she wore her strapless ivory wedding dress designed by Martina Liana. Dining tables dressed in white tablecloths were decorated with pink and white centerpieces of roses, hydrangeas and lilies mixed with Queen Anne's lace and leaves. Our favorite detail had to be the black-and-white three-tiered wedding cake that embodied the classic palette, as well as incorporated Disney-themed decor through the Precious Moments figurines that served as the cake topper. "We look back on our photos and memories and couldn’t have asked for a better day," Michele says. "That’s because we did every detail exactly the way we wanted."
