A Classic Summer Wedding at the Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park in Ambler, Pennsylvania
It was important to Kate Mahoney (23 and a veterinary technician) and Ryan Marcante (23 and works in finance) to host a wedding that felt sophisticated but not stuffy. "I chose neutral tones for a well-rounded and colorful but not overly matchy vibe," Kate says of her palette. The day began with a ceremony at the church attached to the school where they had met—in the first grade. "Matrimony was the fourth sacrament that Ryan and I received together at Corpus Christi," Kate says. "We were classmates at Corpus Christi for eight years, so getting married there was a given. When it came to choosing their reception venue, Kate and Ryan immediately knew the Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park in Ambler, Pennsylvania, was where they wanted to have their reception. "The view was dramatically stunning with two ponds, fountains and a red barn," she says. "We loved how the house had several smaller rooms that allowed guests to escape the noise of the dance floor for intimate conversation." —Meghan Overdeep
