A Classic Summer Wedding at Cuvee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

It didn't take long for Elise Sampson (24 and a special education teacher) and Isaiah Hoff (26 and a police officer) to choose their wedding venue. In fact, the couple booked Cuvee restaurant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 20 months in advance. "It's not your typical venue, and that's why we loved it," Elise says of the loft-style space. "People probably thought we were crazy booking it that early, but I knew I wasn't going to change my mind." Armed with a navy, blush and white color palette, the couple planned a romantic reception within the urban-rustic space with the help of a few local vendors. "We used Shine Invitations because we wanted something simple and romantic," Elise says of their pink and white invitation suite. As for the chic table numbers and programs? Those were created by the bride's close (and crafty) college friend. Bank of Memories florist created ivory and blush arrangements using a mix of hydrangeas and roses while Classy Girl Cupcakes created a sweet, tiered dessert display for the newlyweds. "We tried to make our wedding as personal and intimate as we could," Elise says. "Ultimately, we just wanted all our guests to feel as if they were part of the family."
