A Classic Summer Wedding at Cedar Ridge Winery in Swisher, Iowa

Kristin Eaton (28 and in banking) and Bo Eaton (31 and in insurance) had a classic summer wedding with a modern twist. Their ceremony and reception took place at Cedar Ridge Winery in Swisher, Iowa, which the couple chose because it offered indoor and outdoor space. "The reception space had large doors that opened to the outdoor space by the vines," Kristin says. "Our wedding day was also the day of a 'super-moon,' so guests enjoyed an evening under the stars." For the summer event, Kristin and Bo chose a vibrant palette of coral, navy and gray. To decorate the indoor space for the reception, Kristin and Bo set up round dining tables with white folding chairs around the room. Each table featured a gray and white chevron table runner as a modern accent. The tables were topped off by a variety of vases filled with ivory hydrangeas and ivory roses. Votive candles added a romantic glow to the tablescapes. From above, the contemporary-style venue's wooden beams were decorated with string lights and lanterns. The wedding party dressed in the wedding colors for this chic occasion, with the bridesmaids in knee-length coral dresses and the groomsmen in navy suits and gray ties.
