A Classic Spring Wedding at Stock’s Manor in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania
After almost two years of planning on Pinterest, Kelly McGranaghan (29 and a product manager) and Ian Hooker (32 and a systems analyst) had a wedding filled with all their favorite things. “I love the springtime and really wanted everything to be flowing and appear effortless,” Kelly says. After a sweet ceremony at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, their hometown, everyone went to Stock’s Manor in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, for a mint, gold, pink and white reception that felt like spring. Some of their 134 guests even found their DIY escort cards hanging above a patch of real grass. But that was far from all! Thinking of the space as a blank canvas, Kelly and Ian picked out decorations with bright colors. Peony and rose-filled centerpieces from Petals With Style decorated the tables, while a DIY pink rosette linen from her mother accented the wedding cake. Another thing we really loved were the wedding favors. Kelly and Ian turned to their favorite coffee shops, including Little Amps Coffee Roasters in Harrisburg, and gave each friend and family member a canvas bag filled with coffee or tea.
