A Classic Southern Wedding at a Private Residence in Figure Eight Island, North Carolina

Lauren Blazek (23 and a social/clinical research specialist) and Grayson Blazek (23 and a financial research and data analyst) wanted a classic, traditional, look to their wedding. A seafoam green and gold color palette complemented their island location, and bouquets and centerpieces filled with blush and white peonies, garden roses, ranunculuses and hydrangeas added a soft, romantic look to the decor. The bridesmaids wore seafoam green gowns, which complemented Lauren's simple backless lace gown. The ceremony was held outdoors on a grass field overlooking the Sound at Figure 8 Island, where Lauren grew up. The couple exchanged vows underneath a pergola decorated with chiffon, flowers and a chandelier.
