A Classic, Rustic-Chic Wedding at Tradition Golf Club in La Quinta, California

Located at the base of the mountains, this desert oasis served as the perfect location for Meggan Thompson (33 and in clinical social work) and Kellogg Brengel’s (31 and in nonprofit management) romantic occasion with a rustic twist. They had their outdoor ceremony and reception at Tradition Golf Club in La Quinta, California, an area that Kellogg often visited and saw as a second home. A romantic ambience was created through hues of gold, purple, red and orange—coloring everything from the red calla lily boutonnieres to the purple floral tablecloths and the gold-crusted plates set at dining tables. After the outdoor ceremony, decorated naturally with the surrounding landscape, guests were led to the reception where dining tables were lit by rustic candelabras and lanterns that set a romantic ambience, thanks to the assistance of Timeless Celebrations. What was one of our favorite details? The orange and white paper bags filled with coffee and muffins that were labeled with “sweet couple-ccino” to be enjoyed the next morning, which reflected their love story of meeting in a coffee shop.
